No incidents, insults, or loud arguments occurred at the 'Civil Contract' party office
It is a complete absurdity, a product of someone's sick imagination. Vahagn Aleksanyan, coordinator of public relations for the 'Civil Contract' party and a member of the National Assembly, responded to a report from one of the websites claiming that a brawl occurred at the party office involving Sasun Mikayelyan, president of the YEC, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, MP Hrachya Hakobyan, and other 'Civil Contract' members. This was reported by 'Hraparak'.
“Currently, in the 'Civil Contract' party, there are pre-electoral preparations underway, during which hundreds of people are visiting the party office every day. There have been no incidents, insults, or loud arguments at the 'Civil Contract' party office; only a number of working meetings have taken place,” emphasized Aleksanyan.
Our Q&A is as follows:
- Mr. Aleksanyan, was Sasun Mikayelyan in the office today? Did he attend any meetings?
- Yes, yes, Sasun Mikayelyan was in the office, along with other representatives from Kotayk Province and representatives from other regions and administrative districts of Yerevan. The party is fully engaged in the electoral work.
- But wasn't there any incident, insults, or fights involving him and Papikyan?
- Absolutely not, ab-so-lute-ly not. There are no confrontations or clashes within the Civil Contract party, no matter how much it saddens certain media outlets.
- What do you think has given rise to such publications?
- I assume those who published it, perhaps even those who commissioned it, would very much like for such things to happen.
The media also attempted to obtain comments from Mikayelyan and Papikyan, but was unable to reach them.
