Known Who Voted For and Against Pashinyan's Candidacy
Today, the results of the parliamentary vote were published on the parliament's website. According to the results, the candidacy of Nikol Pashinyan was opposed by the members of the 'My Step' alliance, Yeghishe Sogomonian, Babken Tunyan, as well as independent MP Arman Babajanian.
Only one MP, Narek Ghahramanyan, who is a part of the 'My Step' faction, voted in favor of Pashinyan.
All other present MPs abstained from voting.
It is worth reminding that the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia did not elect Nikol Pashinyan, the only candidate for the position of Prime Minister, during today's extraordinary session.
