Artik Resident Made Drugs from Wild Cannabis Plants

The police continue their consistent fight against drug use and illegal trafficking. Another case was uncovered by the police in Artik.

Criminal investigators received information that a 50-year-old resident of Garibjanyan Street in Artik was illegally producing, storing, and using drugs. On April 30, he was apprehended at the intersection of Garibjanyan and Abovyan streets.

A personal search revealed a greenish, distinctly odorous plant substance and a dropper containing a similar substance. According to the arrested individual, what was discovered was a drug he had made from wild cannabis plants for personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been ordered.
