Tragic Car Accident in Vayots Dzor Region: 1 Dead, 5 Injured

A tragic car accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region on May 1. Around 19:20, a "UAZ" brand vehicle veered off the road while traveling from Yeghegnadzor to the village of Vernashen, near the White Church and in a section known as "Bana." The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, but the vehicle rolled over several times and ended up in a ravine.

According to Shamshyan.com, six individuals were involved in the accident. Citizens and emergency response teams from the Vayots Dzor regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly to assist, retrieving the victims from various parts of the ravine and transporting them to the "Yeghegnadzor" medical center. Medical staff at the center also acted quickly, providing first aid to the injured before their transfer to the hospital.

However, a notification was received from the hospital that one of the injured women had died. The police and investigative department are currently working to identify the deceased, the driver, and the other victims.
