Video: Streets in Tbilisi Flooded Due to Heavy Rain, Water Sweeping Away Parked Cars

Several streets in the outskirts of Tbilisi have been flooded following heavy rainfall that occurred last evening, reports the news portal News Georgia.

The situation has been particularly severe in Didgomi and the nearby area, where, according to eyewitness accounts, strong currents resulting from the flood are sweeping away parked cars along the sidewalks.

Rustavi 2 television reported that water has also inundated residential buildings in the area, including the building of the 'St. Andrew's Foundation,' which provides assistance to children suffering from cancer.

It is known that the rain has ceased now, and 17 firefighting brigades have begun the work of eliminating the aftermath of the rainfall. There is currently no information about the injured.
