Two Firefighters Smoke Inhaled During Smoke Removal Work in Children's Railway Tunnel

The smoke removal work in the tunnel leading to Yerevan's Children's Railway is ongoing, and two firefighters have inhaled smoke.

Anna Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, stated this in a conversation with Armenpress.

“The firefighting operations are still continuing. The smoke is in the tunnel, which is an enclosed space. The problem is that the smoke is dispersing slowly. Currently, 6 firefighting teams are working on the scene,” Baghdasaryan noted, adding that the affected firefighters have already received appropriate medical assistance, and their condition is assessed as normal.
