Human Skull Discovered in the Fields of Kaputan Village, Investigative Committee Probing Circumstances

On April 28, 2021, a report was received by the Kotayk Division of the RA Police regarding the discovery of a human skull in the fields of Kaputan village. The Investigative Committee informs that an investigative group dispatched to the scene found a skull consistent with a human's, which exhibited numerous injuries.

Additionally, in the adjacent area, about 40 cm deep, a male corpse was uncovered, covered with a layer of soil and partially decomposed, with the upper part of the abdomen missing.

A forensic examination of the corpse has been commissioned. The Abovyan Investigative Division of the Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee is preparing materials regarding the incident.
