Moscow Responds to Kyrgyz-Tajik Clashes

Russia has called on Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to peacefully resolve the ongoing conflict, according to a statement by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Zakharova noted that Moscow welcomes the parties' decision to create a joint working group, which will monitor the situation along the border. The representative added that Moscow is ready to support the resolution of disputed issues by all available means through diplomatic channels.
