Chinese Vaccine Against Coronavirus Sent from Beijing to Armenia
With the support of the Chinese government, a Chinese vaccine against the coronavirus was sent from Beijing to Armenia on April 30, and it is expected to arrive in Yerevan on schedule. This was reported by the Ambassador of China to Armenia, Fan Yong, on his Facebook page.
"The use of the vaccines is expected to have a positive impact on overcoming the pandemic in Armenia. Friends are recognized in difficult times, and we fight the pandemic together with united efforts," the statement said.
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, informed Armenpress that the CoronaVac vaccine from Sinovac will be available in Armenia during the first week of May, consisting of 100,000 doses, which is enough for 50,000 people: "All citizens over the age of 18 can register to get vaccinated," said the minister.
