Altercation Involving Shengavit Community Leader and His Brother

Recently, an altercation involving Ruzmik Mkrtchyan, the head of the Shengavit administrative district, occurred. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

On April 22, around 11:00 AM, a dispute took place near a private home being constructed by R. Mkrtchyan at the end of Aragats Avenue, involving R. Mkrtchyan, his brother Vardan Mkrtchyan, and on the other side, Khachak Gevorgyan and his friend.

According to sources, the argument escalated into a brawl; however, both the community leader and his brother, along with those involved in the altercation, tried to hide the incident to prevent the local police from finding out. Nevertheless, operational information regarding the incident reached the Criminal Police Department of the RA Police, where materials were prepared, and the case was forwarded to the Shengavit division of the police.

Reports that gunshots were fired during the altercation are untrue.
