From April 6 to April 13, the Stepanavan Division of the Police received three reports regarding livestock thefts. The thefts occurred in the villages of Agarak and Yazdan in the Lori region. This information was provided by the Police Information Department.

On April 6, 7 piglets were stolen from a livestock barn in Agarak, causing a material damage of 175,000 AMD. Additionally, 23 chickens were stolen from another barn, amounting to damages exceeding 90,000 AMD. The police were taking measures towards solving the case when, on April 13, a new report of theft was received: three calves, two sheep, and a lamb had been stolen from the barn of a house in the village of Yazdan.

As a result of the professional work of criminal investigators, information emerged that these thefts were committed by a 31-year-old resident of Vanadzor using his "VAZ-21103" vehicle. Following explanatory work, he presented himself to the Stepanavan Division of Police on April 14.

Subsequent measures revealed that the man had hidden the stolen items in one of the buildings in the Bulgarian settlement of Vanadzor. A search carried out in the aforementioned building resulted in the recovery of the stolen goods, which were returned to their owners.

A criminal case has been initiated.
