We Do Not Have Peace, This is a Period When Turks Are Strengthening: Gevorg Gevorgyan

We do not have peace, this is a period when Turks are strengthening, trying to take Armenia without war, we are currently in the process of surrendering and destruction of the country. This was stated by Gevorg Gevorgyan, founder of the National Front NGO, in an interview with Tert.am.

He considers the statements regarding dialogue with Turks unacceptable. “The Turks have been genocidal and will remain genocidal. The Turkish little brother, Azerbaijani President Aliyev, was declaring that if they enter Syunik, they can easily reach Yerevan, saying ‘it is theirs.’ We have left them so audacious that without having a history, they talk about our historical lands. You cannot befriend someone who does not acknowledge his crimes and threatens to annihilate you,” he said.

“We do not have authorities; we have homeless, traitorous people serving Turkish interests who hate our country and the Armenian people. Those who do not cherish our homeland and victories cannot humiliate this people to such an extent, with treacherous blows to not only our back but also destroying the army and the statehood. The first blow was dealt to religion, culture, and the army,” he added.

The freedom fighter noted that our enemies will not be satisfied with the territories surrendered, and the traitorous authorities will serve Turkish interests again. “And how will Pashinyan carry out his second act of treason? Naturally, he would entice Syunik, provoke the stubborn and unwavering people of Syunik, and pour salt on the wounds of the people. And what should Aliyev do? Naturally, he would seek a new war to make our people, suffering from the pain of war and betrayal, retreat. In fact, these two misfits are working with psychological pressure, employing 'pass' methods,” he concluded.
