Famous Armenian-American reality TV star Kim Kardashian expressed her gratitude to US President Joe Biden on her Facebook page for using the term "genocide" on the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

According to Armenpress, Kardashian particularly noted that after more than a century of struggle for truth and recognition, the Armenian people received recognition when President Biden referred to the massacre of 1.5 million Armenians in 1915 as "genocide" in his speech.

"I am proud of my heritage, my Armenian community. Thank you, President Biden, for honoring every Armenian on that day, thank you for the truth. Although nothing will bring back the slain Armenians, I hope that their relatives will now feel a sense of peace. Each year, I will continue to honor and remember those we lost on that day, but now with the hope that after the recognition of the genocide, we will never allow the atrocities of the past to happen again. Thank you, President Biden, for your courage to speak the truth that others chose to conceal," Kardashian emphasized in her post.
