Pashinyan and Macron Discuss Resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated France's role in the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, which is one of the important steps to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Emmanuel Macron expressed his and the French people's support, adding that France will continue to stand by the Armenian people in overcoming difficulties.
The interlocutors discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
The Prime Minister emphasized that he views the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue exclusively under the principle of "separation for salvation."
Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron also addressed issues related to the agenda of Armenian-French relations, as well as the internal political developments occurring in Armenia.
