Iran: Israel Will Face Consequences for Strikes on Syria

Israel will face consequences for striking Syria. This statement was made by Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, in an interview with the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen television channel, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The Zionists believe they can attack Syria without facing repercussions. Recent and future actions will put Israel’s interests at risk... the resistance front will respond to the Zionists,” Bagheri stated.

He emphasized, “The Iranian armed forces are ready to give a decisive response to any threats or actions from enemies.”

Israel regularly conducts strikes on Syrian territory from Lebanon and the contested Golan Heights between Syria and Israel.
