Civil Contract to Participate in Snap Elections, Nikol Pashinyan Nominated as Prime Minister

The Civil Contract party will participate in the snap parliamentary elections, and I will stand as the candidate for Prime Minister, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in a message to the Armenian people.

“The people must have the opportunity to express their opinions, evaluate the past and present, and make decisions about the future. The snap elections are being held to create those opportunities. The future of power should be determined only and solely by the people, and I see myself as the guarantor of this opportunity and right,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

He stated that if the people decide that he should leave the position of Prime Minister, he will accept that decision.
