Erdogan to Visit Georgia

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is set to visit Georgia, although the exact date has yet to be determined. According to the Georgia Online portal, this was announced by Turkey's ambassador to Georgia, Fatma Ceren Yazgan.

“When the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Gakharia, visited Turkey in 2018, an agreement was reached to hold a high-level strategic council meeting in Turkey, which would involve government members from both Turkey and Georgia. Following this, President Erdogan was expected to visit Georgia, but the pandemic began, and everything was postponed. Now we are trying to agree on a date and are awaiting the Georgian government and the schedule,” the ambassador stated.
