Biden Informs Erdogan of Plans to Recognize Armenian Genocide: Suren Sargsyan

Political analyst Suren Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page: "As I had predicted, Biden and Erdogan had an online conversation today: Biden informed that he plans to recognize the Armenian Genocide."

Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the conversation between the two leaders, notes that on Friday, U.S. President Joe Biden announced his intention to officially recognize the mass killings of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century as genocide during his discussion with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It is worth mentioning that President Joseph Biden and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation in which they agreed to meet at the NATO summit in Brussels scheduled for June.
