Armenia Capable of Independently Defending Its Territorial Integrity, Security Council Secretary

The Secretary of Armenia's Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, in an interview with RIA Novosti, rebuffed claims about the influence of Soros institutions on the country’s internal politics. “Our political force is neither pro-Western nor pro-Eastern. We are a Armenia-centered force and guided solely by Armenia's interests. Regarding 'Soros', I would like to mention that such statements are ridiculous and the result of limited thinking. Typically, I am not interested in everyday-level statements, even less in commenting on them, but I hope to put this topic to rest once and for all: in politics, it is important to assess actions,” said Grigoryan.

He believes that this topic is primarily propagated at the request of the political opposition to the authorities in Armenia.

Armen Grigoryan also stated that Armenia is capable of independently defending its territorial integrity. “Armenia is capable of defending its state’s territorial integrity with its own forces and the potential of its allies,” said the Secretary of the Security Council.
