Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan to Be Questioned Soon
Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan is set to be summoned for questioning soon. The Artsakh Prosecutor's Office has announced that the president will be questioned in relation to a criminal case initiated under the first part of Article 312 of the Artsakh Criminal Code, which pertains to the characteristics of a criminal offense.
Additional information regarding the date of the questioning will be provided later.
It is noteworthy that Article 312 of the Artsakh Republic Criminal Code addresses the overthrow of the constitutional order:
"Overthrowing the constitutional order 1. The actual nullification of any norm provided in the first part of Article 1, Articles 2-6, or the first part of Article 7 of the Constitution, which is expressed by the cessation of the operation of that norm in the legal system, is punishable by imprisonment for a period of ten to fifteen years. 2. A person who voluntarily reports to law enforcement agencies about the preparation of a crime under this article is exempt from criminal liability prescribed by this article."
