And forgive me, I didn't even want to showcase the cowardice of some of our high-ranking generals: Prime Minister

We will consider the issue of declassifying and publishing the relevant part of the minutes from the Security Council meeting held on September 30, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in parliament today, referring to the statement made by former Chief of the General Staff Onik Gasparyan during the Security Council meeting.

“What I said is provable,” Pashinyan stated. Today, he announced in parliament that Onik Gasparyan did not say, “measures need to be taken within 2-3 days to stop the war”; on the contrary, he stated that the adversary had made no advances.

Pashinyan noted that it was Gasparyan himself who informed the Prime Minister about his conversations with Serzh Sargsyan. “I literally know what he said, what Serzh Sargsyan said. I know that on December 10, 2020, Onik Gasparyan requested a meeting with Serzh Sargsyan during the time of the attempted coup,” Pashinyan added.

The Prime Minister stated that he has not responded to Gasparyan's statements until now as he did not want to create the impression that he was trying to evade any responsibility. “And forgive me, I didn't even want to showcase the cowardice of some of our high-ranking generals,” Pashinyan said.
