VIDEO: Husband Kills Wife at Neighbor's Home; Police Footage of the Incident
On April 20, at 8:10 PM, the emergency service station received a report to the Mush division of the police in Gyumri that a 65-year-old woman, a resident of Shirakatsy Street in Gyumri, had been transported to a medical center with a stab wound to the chest.
However, the doctors could only document the woman's death, as the injury was incompatible with life. After the alert, the personnel from the Shirak region administration and the Mush division went to the hospital and the scene of the incident.
Joint efforts revealed that the incident occurred on Shirakatsy Street; the woman had sustained the injury at a neighbor's hut. According to preliminary information, the husband had returned home, not finding his wife, and went to the neighbor's hut, where he had an argument with her and stabbed her.
Half an hour after the alert, the 69-year-old husband was taken to the Mush division, confessed to the act, and was arrested. The knife used in the crime has been seized. A forensic examination has been appointed, and a criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of murder. An investigation is ongoing.
