Pashinyan Should Come During the Day, Face the Turk, and Repeat: Syunik is Safe, Shurnukh Leader
The Prime Minister secretly visited Shurnukh, entered two houses, and left. This was stated by the head of the Shurnukh community, Hakob Arshakyan, in a conversation with reporters.
“The boys from Sharasyan approached me and said, 'Why don’t you come closer?' I asked, 'Who is it?' They replied, 'It's Pashinyan,' and when I asked which one, they said, 'The one running with bags.' What is this called?” he recounted.
Commenting on reports that a protest had been organized in Shurnukh, Arshakyan noted that the residents of his village wanted to meet with the Prime Minister to raise questions regarding security, so their children wouldn't have to look at the Turk from the window.
“He says the power is the people, but isn't the Shurnukh resident part of the people? Let him come during the day, stand next to the Shurnukh resident, face the Turk, and repeat that the people of Syunik are safe,” Arshakyan stated.
