Director of the analytical center "Henaket", former advisor to the President of Artsakh on security issues Tigran Abrahamyan made a Facebook post stating:

"Those representatives of the government who claimed that there is no problem in Syunik and that the roads are safe, how do they feel when even their own prime minister travels those roads under Russian guarantees? Is it convenient to find oneself in the status of a well-known animal? The prime minister’s tour in Syunik, accompanied by a patrol vehicle from the Russian border service, best reflects the military-political situation and the specific features and real threats created in the region and in Armenia. Those who truly understand the motives behind this government's actions and the consequences of the ongoing policies will naturally express their intolerance in any way they can, as force allows. Each day this government remains in power brings us closer to the next stage of tragedy, which must be prevented."
