VIDEO: ‘When you get out of Channel 5, perhaps Pashinyan will answer your questions.’ Pashinyan’s spokesperson to a journalist
During Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Syunik, the work of journalists is being impeded, and this is not only not being prevented, but it seems to be encouraged by Pashinyan's spokesperson, Mane Gevorgyan.
The video shows a scuffle occurring between Mane and a female journalist who is trying to cover Pashinyan's visit, which takes place under a barrage of insults in Syunik. It is visible in the footage that the girl is fleeing from Mane, and it is hard to tell whether Mane was physically pulling her or not, and she ends up in the hands of the police.
Mane approaches her, trying to clarify something, but during that time it is the police that are pulling the defiant journalist, who is likely a regional journalist from Syunik.
Later, it was revealed that the girl is a regional journalist from TV5, whom Mane Gevorgyan said: ‘When you get out of Channel 5, perhaps Pashinyan will answer your questions.’
