The Resigned MP from 'My Step' Will Take on a New Position

Today, I submitted my resignation as a member of the National Assembly to the Chairman of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan. At the same time, I inform you that I will continue my activities in the executive branch. This was announced by Narek Mkrtchyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, I hereby inform you that today I submitted my resignation as a member of the National Assembly to the Chairman of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan. I also want to announce that I will continue my work in the executive branch. I would like to thank the residents of the Armavir region for the trust they have placed in me. I am also grateful to my fellow colleagues in the National Assembly, the regional authorities of Armavir, and the heads of local self-governing bodies for our joint work. During my tenure as a member of parliament, I have tried to be as accessible as possible to citizens, listen to their issues, and find solutions. Now more than ever, our country needs everyone's support and care, so let us love one another, be forgiving, and work together for the glory of the Republic of Armenia,” he wrote.
