Russian Airlines to Launch Regular Flights, Including to Armenia

Russian airlines have received permission to operate regular flights to 15 countries, including Armenia. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Rosaviatsia.

The airlines will be able to conduct flights to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Jordan, China, North Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Serbia, Slovenia, Thailand, Croatia, Montenegro, as well as Cyprus and the Maldives.

In particular, Aeroflot group airlines have been granted the ability to operate regular flights to Cyprus up to seven times a week.

The Pobeda airline can conduct flights to Larnaca from Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Perm, and Yekaterinburg. The carrier has been permitted to operate flights to Gyumri (Armenia) from Mineralnye Vody, Sochi, and Krasnodar, also up to seven times a week.

Ural Airlines has received permission for up to three flights per week toward Armenia, Azerbaijan, Jordan, and Cyprus. The airline will be able to operate flights to Baku from Voronezh, Omsk, and Irkutsk, to Yerevan from 14 cities in Russia (Belgorod, Irkutsk, Kemerovo), to Gyumri from Voronezh and Volgograd, and to Aqaba from St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and Zhukovsky.
