New 'Job Opportunities' Ahead of Elections: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper writes: 'The upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections have sparked enthusiasm in the regions, but people are not excited about the elections themselves; rather, they are enthusiastic about new 'job opportunities' opening up. The fact is that in recent weeks, several parties have been opening party offices in almost all regions and communities, which will turn into campaign headquarters during the elections and are hiring staff to work in these headquarters.
The newspaper has been informed that the ruling 'Civil Agreement' party is particularly active, having closed all its offices after the previous elections. Arthur Vanetsyan has opened more than 60 offices in the regions. The Prosperous Armenia Party is also active, employing a large number of staff. However, it is not ruled out that the authorities, in order to suppress the activities of the opposition forces, will begin to exert pressure on those providing spaces for campaign headquarters and opposition supporters, as was the case in the past elections.'
