Workshop Burns in Sevan, House on Fire in Shaki Village
On April 19 at 22:35, a call was received by the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center reporting a fire at a functioning workshop at the beginning of Sevan city. Two firefighting crews from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene.
It was found that the fire had broken out at an auto service point located at 39 Peace Street. The fire was contained at 23:03 and extinguished by 23:34. The auto service point, approximately 63 square meters in size, was damaged along with its belongings.
On April 20 at 06:23, another call was received by the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center indicating a house was on fire in Shaki village. Two firefighting crews were again dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue department.
It was determined that the fire had started in one of the houses on 13th Street. The fire was contained by 07:22.
