Vaccination Against COVID-19 Begins in Artsakh: Details on the Vaccines Used

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh informs the population that as of today, the preventive vaccination process against COVID-19 has commenced in Artsakh. The first person to receive the vaccine was Academician Grigori Gabrilyants.

The vaccinations are being conducted using the Russian 'Sputnik V' and 'AstraZeneca' vaccines.

"We recommend and simultaneously urge target groups, particularly healthcare workers, individuals aged 65 and older, those with chronic illnesses, and anyone wishing to be vaccinated to contact the Epidemology and Hygiene Center of the Ministry of Health of Artsakh or call 047 94 34 62. You can also reach the Health Ministry's hotline at 30 03," the announcement stated.
