Unknown Individuals Damaged the Stones of the Holy Andrew Monastery Altar in Ijevan

The Preservation Service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia reported that during a routine inspection, the guardian of the monument of the Tavush regional service recorded a violation in the territory of the Holy Andrew (Monastery of Vardan the Eastern) medieval monument located in the Ijevan community.

Individuals unknown dug a hole and damaged the altar stones in the monastery complex.

The Tavush regional service has alerted the police.
