Hostile Fire Targeted Residential Home in Stepanakert, Shots Fired Towards Shoshi and Mkhitarashen Villages
On April 20, around 15:00, enemy gunfire was directed at a residential home in Stepanakert, according to Hetq.am. Shots were also reported towards the villages of Mkhitarashen and Shoshi.
The roof of the house located at 13/46 V. Vagharyan Street in Stepanakert was pierced by the shots. Karine Munchyan recounted that she was not at home at the time; her husband Khachatur and their two children were inside. Khachatur is a military serviceman. The family used to live in Shushi before the war but relocated to Stepanakert to rent a house after the conflict. Just four days prior, they had moved from their previous address to a home on Vagharyan Street. The children, Armen and Ashot, were present at that moment. Ashot reported that his father mentioned that the enemy fired with AK-type weapons,” the media outlet wrote.
We also visited Shoshi village, where the village head Erik Abrahamyan confirmed that around 15:00 yesterday, shots were heard in both Mkhitarashen and Shoshi villages for about 15-20 minutes.
