Brawl in Yerevan: Injuries Reported, Gunshots Fired

On April 18, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 20:50, a medical team from emergency services Number 63 transported a citizen to the 'Erebuni' Medical Center, from where the information was relayed to the Shengavit police department, reports Shamshyan.com.

Upon arrival at the hospital, the operational group of the Shengavit police department determined that a resident of Yerevan, 26-year-old Vardges Ch., was admitted with injuries including "facial contusions in the right parietal region and abrasions on the face." While doctors were providing treatment to the injured, officers from the Charbakh police station, in cooperation with agents from the 4th division of the criminal investigation department of Yerevan police, clarified that on the same day, around 18:30, a dispute had taken place on Sharouri Street between Yerevan residents, 23-year-old Hamlet Gh., 25-year-old Gagik G., 29-year-old Harutyun T., and several others whose identities have yet to be clarified. During the brawl, the suspects struck Vardges Ch., as well as his brother, 26-year-old Vachik Ch., with their feet and a baton.

Operational information has also been received indicating that during the altercation, one of the injured individuals fired a warning shot from a pistol he had on him.
