Nikol Who Despised Russia Became Russia's Puppet, NGOs Disgusted by Nikol Now Support Him
Patriotic westerners, under government orders or with silent consent, have raised a new anti-Russian hysteria regarding the voting of the Russian delegation at the PACE. This was stated by former Armenian ambassador to the Holy See, Mikayel Minasian, on his Facebook page.
“Can you say what you want, because there is a deep tragedy in your steps and actions. First, I hope you are aware that you are not needed by the West. You are not needed as a political force or as a type. In general, Armenia is not needed either, but I will elaborate on that on another occasion. The evidence of the second is today’s forgotten democracy and the bleeding population, and the evidence of the first is your status: being pro-Western, you fully support the most pro-Russian leader in the history of Armenia, who slavishly licks the boots of the Russians. By the way, have you noticed that the more you increase anti-Russian rhetoric, the more you are made to allow the insignificant to speak?”
“Unfortunately, the domestic pro-Russian elements also provoke smiles as they fiercely attack the anti-Russians regarding the PACE resolution's vote, trying to prove that Russia could not vote in favor because anti-Russian formulations were included in the agenda. Pro-Russian elements are trying to explain the logic of inter-parliamentary diplomacy to the dullards. Meanwhile, you’re no less naive, as you support Russia by being Nikol's subservient, thus contributing to Armenia's 'nikolization'. By the way, I also have bad news for you: you are also unnecessary for Russia, neither as a political force nor as a type. The reality is different: both the Russians and the West have taken what they needed. And since neither side has the desire to change the status quo yet, while we continue to see and not understand, everything else is political self-deception or self-gratification. Whatever you want.
If you noticed, our enthusiasm and disappointment in fighting in international arenas is not new. From Khrimian Hayrik to Edmond, who is the only one protesting in PACE with a grim face, we Armenians have failed to understand one important thing: states have their interests, and the only formula for success is the alignment of interests and continuous and consistent joint work. For that, there must be education, professionalism, experience, human connections, multilayered relationships, constant work, and diplomatic consistency. In short, characteristics that have been perceived for the last three years as nothing more than 'excessive luxury'.
And just for that reason, they have found themselves in an incomprehensible labyrinth of relations, where Nikol, who hates Russia, has become Russia's slave, NGOs disgusted by Nikol have become supporters of the pro-Russian Nikol, and pro-Russian political forces support Russia, which in turn keeps Nikol in power, even though it despises the revolutionaries. Meanwhile, Armenia is bleeding, suffering 5000 casualties, losing Artsakh, leaving its own sons in forests and Baku's prisons. And after all this, you have already spent the second day discussing the meaningless outcome of a vote of a tertiary organization of quaternary significance,” Minasian wrote.
