Azerbaijan Opens New Military Unit Near Armenian Border

A new Azerbaijani military unit has been established near the Armenian border in the Zangilan region, which has come under Azerbaijani control after the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. The unit was inaugurated on April 20, according to a report by minval.az, citing a statement from the Azerbaijani State Border Service.

A ceremony marking the opening of the military unit was held, during which military personnel were awarded for their service.
