Aliyev Dissatisfied with Russia's Defense Ministry Response on Iskander

Azerbaijan has received a response letter from the Russian Defense Ministry regarding the Iskander-M missiles in Armenia, but is not satisfied with the official's answer. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with AzTV, as reported by TASS.

According to him, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that the missiles were not launched during the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. “The Russian Defense Ministry has responded to the letter from the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. I have familiarized myself with that letter. The response states that the Russian side did not initiate the launch of ballistic missiles. In fact, this is not a complete answer to our letter, because the main issue of our inquiry was how Armenia obtained the Iskander-M lethal missiles,” said Aliyev.
