Which Roads Will Be Closed on April 24?

In connection with the events commemorating the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, several roads in Yerevan will be closed on April 24. During a press conference at the Armepress press hall, the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, informed that the road from the Victory Bridge to Leningrad Street will be closed, as well as the section from the upper part of Werfel Street towards Brazil Square.

'On April 24, between 09:00 and 10:00 AM, access to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will be temporarily restricted due to visits from official delegations. I would request our citizens to limit their visits to Tsitsernakaberd during those times or a little earlier to avoid congestion,' said Arayik Harutyunyan.

On April 24, two routes will be operational to transport citizens from the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex: Route No. 1 will operate from the Razdan Sports Complex, via Athens Street, the Victory Bridge, Argishti, Italy, Khorenatsi, and Agatangeghos Streets to the metro station 'Zoravar Andranik' and return via the same route. Route No. 2 will operate from Razdan Sports Complex through Tsitsernakaberd Drive, Leningrad and Kyiv Streets towards the metro station 'Barekamutyun.'

The metro will operate until 1 AM on the night of April 24 to 25.
