What Stage is Being Assembled Near Tsitsernakaberd?
Photographs of a stage being set up near Tsitsernakaberd ahead of April 24 are actively circulating and being discussed online. According to one of the circulating pieces of information, a display of archival photographs with light effects will be organized in the Tsitsernakaberd park on April 23.
Earlier, Yerevan’s mayor’s spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan made a post on his Facebook page announcing that in connection with the 105th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the 'Dari Ghojank' foundation has initiated the '105 Royal' project. This project plans to place 105 pianos, acquired through a pan-Armenian fundraising campaign, at the top of Tsitsernakaberd in commemoration of the anniversary. 'These will perform works from the classical art repertoire. After the commemorative events conclude, the pianos will be donated to music schools in Armenia, including 10 of them to the Republic of Artsakh.'
