Road Closures Across Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are currently road closures across Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn Province leading to the Amberd Fortress and the Kary Lake are closed.

According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open. On the Russian side, there are approximately 250 trucks queued.
