Parliament Ratifies Amendment to Increase Membership of Aviation Commission

The National Assembly of Armenia ratified the protocol amending Article 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. According to Armenpress, the protocol was ratified with 86 votes in favor, 2 against, and 15 abstentions.

The ratification of the protocol allows for more member countries to be included in the Aviation Commission, as the number 19 mentioned in Article 56 is replaced with 21.

Currently, the protocol has been ratified by 45 states.
