Dutch Foreign Minister Comments on Baku's 'Park'
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Stef Blok, addressed the newly opened 'park' in Baku, where mannequins of Armenian soldiers are displayed, alongside a photo of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. He expressed that these images were unpleasant.
As reported by Armenpress, the Minister made these comments in the Dutch Parliament while responding to questions from members of Parliament. He stated, 'Mr. De Roon asked me to respond to the Azerbaijani President's photos with the helmets of Armenians, possibly deceased Armenians. These are very unpleasant images. I have previously stated about this conflict that I urge both sides to reach a resolution through negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group and to refrain from behavior that will make a final decision impossible.'
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the newly opened park showcasing captured Armenian military equipment in Baku on April 12. The park spans an area of 5 hectares and includes displays of Armenian armored vehicles, helmets belonging to Armenian soldiers, and more.
