Boeing Forced to Land in Novosibirsk Due to Pilot's Stroke
A Boeing cargo plane on a flight from Paris to Tokyo made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the transport prosecutor's office of Western Siberia.
According to preliminary data, the aircraft's commander suffered a stroke, which led to the emergency landing. The cargo plane of Global Aviation Consulting was due to land at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk. The pilot has been taken to the hospital,” an RIA Novosti source stated.
It was noted that there were no passengers on board the aircraft. The crew, including the backup, is currently in an 18-hour rest period. After this, the plane will continue its journey to Tokyo. The flight is scheduled to take off at 21:00 Moscow time.
