1.5 Million Dram, 2.5 Years, and a New Medical Center

As part of the program for optimizing and modernizing the regional healthcare system, the Talin Medical Center in the Aragatsotn region is set to undergo reconstruction (approximately 3848 square meters). It will also be renovated, with the construction of a boiler room spanning about 479 square meters, and a new morgue of approximately 180 square meters in place of the former morgue building. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

According to the department, around 1 million 500 thousand Armenian drams will be allocated from the state budget for the reconstruction of the medical center.

Taking into account the current building conditions of the center and low occupancy rates, after modernization, it will have a total of 30 beds, including 5 for intensive care, with an additional 2 in the reception area for emergency medical assistance.

The construction works will last for 2.5 years.
