BMW Crashes into Basalt Retaining Wall in Yerevan, Toppling Trees and Ending Up in Resident's Garden; Injuries Reported
A severe car accident occurred in Yerevan today. Around 4:00 AM, a BMW vehicle veered off the roadway on Baghramyan Avenue, colliding with a basalt curb and an iron pole. The car then continued forward, smashing into a basalt retaining wall, breaking it and ending up overturned in the garden of a resident's building, destroying and uprooting several trees, according to shamshyan.com.
As a result of the accident, two individuals sustained injuries and were taken to the Armenia Medical Center. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed promptly by a team of doctors who arrived at the scene.
Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The police are working to identify the driver and the injured parties.
