VIDEO: Applause. A Debate Between Alen Simonian and a Journalist Erupted
Armenia and Artsakh have a future. If there is a person who thinks that Armenia and Artsakh do not have a future, I wish success to all of those people. Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian said this during a conversation with journalists, responding to a reporter's question about why the MPs from "My Step" were applauding Nikol Pashinyan despite the current situation of Armenia and Artsakh.
To the question of whether Armenia and Artsakh have a future with his team, Alen Simonian stated, "They have no future with Mikhail Minasyan, they have no future with Serzh Sargsyan, they have no future with Robert Kocharyan, those people have no future." Alen Simonian got into a debate with the journalist who repeatedly insisted on the same question. The Vice Speaker responded, "You represent a political force. The Republic of Armenia and Artsakh have a future, applause."
When asked whether there is a future with the Turks or without them, Alen Simonian said, "All the people who sold for 20 years have a future with the Turks. The names of those people are well known. Those who have had a future with Turkey are those who have lost Artsakh and the war," said the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly.
In response to the claim that it was they who surrendered Artsakh and that the signature on the document was that of Nikol Pashinyan, not Serzh Sargsyan or Robert Kocharyan, Alen Simonian stated, "No one surrendered anything during our time. It was surrendered at a time when it was already surrendered," the Vice Speaker noted.
