Murder on Yerevan Route 54: Criminal Case Opened

On April 14, 2021, at 10:10 AM, the Central Division of the RA Police received a report from a citizen regarding a stabbing incident inside a public transport vehicle at the intersection of Leo and Paronyan streets in Yerevan.

Later that day, at 10:35 AM, the Central Emergency Service reported to the Central Division of the RA Police that a body of an unidentified man had been found at the aforementioned intersection in Yerevan.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, specifically by the Central and Norq-Marash investigative divisions, under Part 1 of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code (murder). An examination of the crime scene was conducted, several individuals have been interrogated, and a forensic examination of the body has been appointed. The investigation is ongoing.

Efforts are being made to clarify all circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify the individual who allegedly committed the crime.
