Tragic Accident Near Artashat Bridge: Vehicle Overturned, Driver Dead, Three Injured

On April 13, at 06:47, the Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near the Artashat bridge, with casualties reported and assistance from rescuers needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informed that a firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that a “Mitsubishi Pajero” (driver L. A., born in 1987) had left the roadway and overturned, resulting in the driver's death at the scene, while three passengers were hospitalized in the Artashat Medical Center.
