Decision on the Termination of Zohrabyan's Powers is in Accordance with the Constitution

The press secretary of the Constitutional Court, Eva Tovmasyan, has announced on her Facebook page: "Based on the request from at least one-fifth of the total number of members of the National Assembly, the Constitutional Court decided on the compliance of the National Assembly decision No. AЖO-014-A from December 29, 2020, regarding the termination of the powers of National Assembly member Naira Zohrabyan as the chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. The National Assembly's decision about the termination of Naira Zohrabyan's powers complies with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia." The ruling will be published on the Constitutional Court's website within three days.
