Nikol Pashinyan Asked: Are You Sure That Tomorrow the Turk Will Not Be in Yerevan, Then Turned and Ran Away: Mother of Missing Soldier

Lilit A.

The meeting took place, but our questions did not receive any clear answers. This was stated by the mother of one of the soldiers serving in Artsakh, presenting their meeting with Nikol Pashinyan at the presidential office.

"Supposedly, our soldiers were to be replaced by contract servicemen, but he says only 1,400 places have been allocated. In six months, you have allocated 1,400 places; in another year, you will allocate 1,500 more. But there is no information on when the children will be replaced there, and there is no incentive since they have served. There was a war; it has passed. What a miracle that our kids survived," she said.

She also noted that she was most surprised by Pashinyan's answer to a specific question: "I said, my child is serving, and we have positions where the Turks are only 30 meters away; what security guarantees are you providing? He replied, 'Are you sure that tomorrow the Turk will not be in Yerevan?' That was the Prime Minister's response. After that, we left; he said tomorrow the Turk might be in Yerevan. I asked again, are you sure he will be in Yerevan, and he turned and ran away," she recounted, adding that they did not receive any concrete answers and were not even given hope.
