Grenades and Ammunition Discovered in a Basement in the City of Masis

Thanks to the professional work of the Masis division of the police, illegal weapons and ammunition were seized on April 8.

Criminal investigators received information that a 22-year-old resident of Republic Street in the city of Masis possessed illegal weapons and ammunition. After verifying the credibility of the information, a criminal case was initiated.

By the decision of the court of general jurisdiction of the Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, a search was conducted in the specified house. In the basement, 2 grenades of the F-1 type, 2 grenade fuses, 25 various types of cartridges, 10 disassembled shells, 10 bullets, a magazine for a firearm, and 66 bullets of various calibers were discovered.

The seized items have been confiscated. The investigation is ongoing.
